VIZ Media announced on Twitter that Season 2 of the popular anime will premiere in April 2019. A teaser trailer for the new season was also released.

For now, there's no additional information regarding simulcast plans for One-Punch Man's new season. However, earlier this year VIZ media did secure the license for the second season of the hit series. This covers digital streaming, TV broadcast, EST, home media and merchandising rights in North America, Latin America and Oceania.

Season 2 will see Chikara Sakurai directing and J.C. Staff (Food Wars, Toradora) animating, instead of director Shingo Natsume and animation studio Madhouse (Death Note, Wolf Children).
