- DARK SOULS™ III. All Discussions. I like the wolf sword more, but the meta seems to be Farrons for that one easily punishable move. Not that wolf isn't easy to punish, but I must admit I suspect the twirly combo move much more than a high damage frontflip overhead slam. The Artorias sword is more consistent and the weapon art is harder.
- It’s unclear what beasts are being referred to as the only beings labeled as beasts in Dark Souls 3 are the Irithyllian Beast-Hounds and Sulyvahn’s Beast and neither seem likely to wield staves or use sorcery. Although this is the franchise that had a sword wielding wolf so anything’s possible.

This sword, like a wolf on the prowl, boosts attack and restores HP with each consecutive hit.
